Sean Carroll Visits Library

Last night's discussion with author and physicist Sean Carroll made accessible a very complicated subject: the origins of the universe and what it all has to do with out perception of time. Although I have an idea of what these things are I won't even try to explain it in this blog but if you want to learn more you should stop by the library and check out Mr. Carroll's extraordinary (and very readable) book From Eternity to Here. Mr. Carroll hinted at what may have preceded the Big Bang or what, in fact, the Big Bang really was; it seems as though physicist are only beginning to unravel the mysteries of the universe as there is so much more to learn!
